Mackdaddy

how was the install on that thing. Hard? Easy? Long time? short time?

also the header is like $500 bucks. thats alot to spend to "just tide you over". thats a quater of what a tubro cost. you know.

but any way. i'm trying to see what kinda price we can get with a group by. hopefully a price like 425.

i would love to see a dyno sheet on this sucker.

Install is time consuming, and a bit of a PITA, but doable. Being a one piece makes it a bit harder than a two piece unit.

Dyno results in the next few weeks....

Will the header change your exhaust sound at all with the stock MP3 (Racing Beat) exhaust?

Yeah, its a fair amount to spend just to tide me over, but I can always sell my intake and header in a year when I go FI.

Anytime you eliminate a catalytic converter in the exhaust stream, it gets louder. Answer to your question, yes. Not by much, but louder than OE stock.

So did you have to use an O2 sim on the second fitting or did you just use the OE one to get rid of the low catalyst warning?

i got the header about week and a half ago and i haven't thrown a cell the header hooked up perfectly, i have driven about 150 miles on it and no problems

so what do you think. give us a review of it.

omg im getting that.. i don't care if i have to sell my brother!! IM GETTING THAT HEADER!

hey, for those (like me) wanting a bit of an increase in performance but dont want to sink all your cash into n/a headers because you're going turbo in the future (me again) i have a thought...dont know if it's possible because i'm not an exhaust expert, but here goes.

buy a full tubular exhaust manifold from spool (or who ever you want and whatever turbo exhaust header you want), block off the wastegate bit, then get a dump pipe made up from the header to the 2nd cat with spots for the O2 and EGR bungs (why you'd want to keep the EGR is beyond me, but anyway)...and there you go, better exhaust than standard, and all you're loosing out on is the dump pipe which wouldnt cost much at all.

what are everyone's thoughts on this?

Hmm...that does sound good, but I won't be able to get a turbo for a while. I figured I'm just gonna go ahead and waste money on a header and exhuast, then go n2o. When I do have the funds to go completely turbo as in rods, pistons, fuel injectors, etc. I'll just sell my intake and headers and just use the n2o to get rid of turbo lag.

Is there going to be a possible GB on these headers?

if there's a group buy around august, i'm down. gotta pay for school first. right now, mitch is selling them for 480.00 before shipping. it would be sweet if we can get them for $450 shipped. if no one starts a group buy by august, i'll look into it further.

Well i was looking into it and Mitch told me he can do them for 480 shipped any where in the USA. And he said that he might be able to get a better price if we could get like 8-9 people together. I deff wanna get one

thats makes 1 person

who else wants in on it?
