Do they check the calipers(core charge refund) well at autozone? Could I purchase some Mazda6 calipers and hand them my MSP calipers?

my suggestion would be to return the msp calipers on a different day, so that they just look and see that you are returning a core.

You don't want autozone calipers! The duralast brand is only good for batteries and wiper blades. A1 cardone is the company that rebuilds most auto parts. If it's a1 it should be ok, duralast is no good. Especially on brake parts. Best option is to get new or rebuilt calipers from Mazda or upgrade to something better.

you def do not want autozone calipers they are junk.and thats if they even have them available.also i might be able to work out something for u on just calipers

IDK ask Custommsp. He tried that and they didn't work that well. We had to swap the piston of the calipers and use the stock caliper because the other one he got was just a hair off.

You could do that... Just find the resident idiot at Auto Zone and swap them out. Only problem is when someone with a regular protege decides that he wants to upgrade to MSP rotors and does exactly what you are doing...then I come along, order the MSP calipers but get the standard, then put the standard calipers on my MSP, doesn't work out too well for shiny new EBC rotors. Then get pissed off and end up getting OEM calipers from Mazda.

I agree on getting the OEM calipers from Mazda. The problem is, Mazda doesn't offer re-manufactured calipers for the MSP...set me back $750 for the pair.

I only put Autozone calipers on my 1990 Festiva.

Yea I called Mazda and dude was like, "That'll be $375 for the front right passenger). Damn damn damn!!!!
