Automatic Car Washes

anyone with a front bug deflector gone through one yet?
i'm in canada where cars get dirty fast. i don't have the facilities to wash my car at home (plus i'm lazy). just wanted to know if the bug deflectors hold up in those things or if they get damaged.

run it through the touchless spray washes and it's fine.

Works Fine for me.. I drove it through a shell carwash with big rollers. Bugshield stayed on no problem. Its's bolted! Lol no cracks nothing.

i advise you stay away from automatic car washes. with no clear coat on our rides you'll have swirl marks very quickly...

1. We don't all live in Texas, some of us have to deal with this stuff called 'Winter' which makes automatic car washes almost a necessity.

2. P5's have clearcoat, except for Yellow - some people with yellow have established they have no clearcoat.

I go through automatic car washes with my P5 weekly (both the 'soft cloth' and 'touchfree' variety. No problems with 'swirl marks'.

Touchless laser wash is the ONLY way to go - some Mobils, Citgo's and Amoco's have them.
