Autoexe install for MP3

Ok - I am expecting my AutoExe lower lip and grill insert any day now and I was wondering how much in US dollars would it be to have it installed and painted. Can anyone who has already had this installed tell me how much it was? Is this something that I can do my self? (Install not paint)

Do they paint the lower lip and grill insert prior to putting it on the car or do they paint it after? Sorry I am new to this..also I wanted to have my licenses plate holes filled and have my whole front end re-coated due to the sand blast effectis this a good idea?

Where did you buy them, did you bring it from Japan, of from a local dealer. Also did you buy the urethane or fiberglass lip?

They where imported from Japan - i got the urethane ones JDM.

Lip is easy to put on. Come with instructions in Japanese. Easy though!

Is the lip and grill supposed to be painted and put on prior to the install? I heard something about the body shop baking the pieces..... has anyone heard of that?

you will want the lip painted. and baking it just makes the paint really tough like just from the factory

so the lip is painted prior to the install .... and baking is an option or do they always bake them?

same for the grill too?

well, the body shop that does it will test fit the lip and make sure every hole that needs to be drillled is drilled and then they paint it and install it. most places do not bake things like that and baking is not necessary. it will cost you more if you have it baked and you will have to find a shop that actually does the baking. there are non that do it that way around here.

i think that it will be fine un baked because i have had a whole car painted and it wasnt baked.. and as for th grill, they will just paint it and stick it in there becuase theres not much room for error on the grill.
