stock suspension is really to soft for Rcomps, the car isn't gonna flip unless you tank slap but still too soft for R's, I'd run RTF if I was you guys running HS.

Do 275/35-15 fit on our little 2s. Well they did on mine this week-end but not on the optimal size wheel. They were on 15x8 with 25mm offset.
My buddy broke his SM Miata the day before during the Time-Attack event. So I offered him to co-drive my little 2 just for the fun of it in FSP. I was planning on using my good ols Nittos NT-01 in 205/50-15 size. Well he offered to test if his wheel tire would fit and it did without any rubbing. So we used it for the whole day and we finished in the top in paxed SP class.
He finished 4th and me 2nd behind a almost fully set-up CRX. We heard we did a lot of three and two-wheeling. I'll post some action shots when I'll get them.
Btw the only mod on the car is the addition of the Corksport rear axle bar. Thanks Derrick!

I'm glad we got the bar to you in time to use it! Those wheels and tires look crazy on the 2.

That's some massive sticky rubber. So how'd you do? I imagine acceleration is significantly worse with the race setup. Those 275's must weigh a ton.

Finished 2nd in paxed Street Prepared class.
The years of experience helped a lot. I started in 1992 but really did full autoslalom seasons from 1998 to 2010.

Never felt close to rolling over. Got to feel the second stage of the stability control kick in a few times. Andy, which fuse do we have to remove?

And the tire and wheel combo was actually a lot lighter than my old 15x7 mags with 205/50-15 NT01 Nittos on them.
But all that grip just killed acceleration out of hairpins. Please note that the Hoosiers were a year old. So, far from fresh.
But for 90% of the course it was how good are you and how lucky do you feel. Kept braking to the minimum.

A former pro driver in my car getting it done

Please forgive the annoying rattle...blame samsung and a really cheap mount made of brittle plastic.

Great thing about the 2 is some chicago boxes are straightaways ;-)
