Autoblog: CX-5 vs Escape

Another point is the ~4MPG difference in average fuel economy of real drivers on Fuelly.
Granted, Fuelly mixes up AWD/FWD and engine types, but I believe this is still fairly accurate. 4 MPGs is substantial enough to consider when making a purchase.

I have driven my son-in-law old Ford Kuga yesterday (European version, Individual trim with that fancy jet-fighter front bumper and black leather with white accents)....

I really like this car. It has very nice styling (more from the outside than inside :)), backside (those "diamond" tali-lights) I prefer over my CX-5, ride is firmer than CX-5, but on the inside CX-5 wins hands down. Also 6-speed Powershift is not as responsive as skyactive-drive. I really had high hopes for new Kuga (Escape in US). However, I don't like it's new design language, like some people mentioned it's over-designed, definitely not my cup of tea.

Cheers,
Miki

When is new Kuga (Escape) being sold in Europe market?

No words mate. I thought it would start after Paris car show (SEP 2012)....still nothing.

I guess Ford is working some big issues in Europe that are causing delays.

they are on some kind of drugs if they think the escape looks better than the CX-5!

I have a new focus, so I like Fords new styling direction, but it still doesnt compare to the CX-5 which is the best looking SUV/crossover on the road
