Auto Wiper when entering garage

A few weeks ago, I noticed that upon entering my garage, every time, the automatic wiper kicks in for one wipe as if water hit the sensor on the outside of the glass.

There is no water, rain or even mist coming from the door or roof of my garage and it has me a bit perplexed. Perhaps it's a temperature differential between the ~20F degrees and the ~50F or so that causes the sensor to kick in.

I haven't tried adjusting the sensitivity nor did I notice if it's happening if the lights are kicking in at the same time.

Anyone else seen this heppen?

SeCX-9:
The rain sensor consists of 6 LEDs and 6 receivers inside the black housing.
The system compares the signal from all 6 and decides to wipe or not.

Occasionally, on start-up, mine also does a single wipe for no apparent reason, but I stop trying to figure that out....
