auto lock?

Is there a programmable option that locks the car doors once you get in? My last car had the option that once you get in your car, and go above 10mph, the doors would automatically lock, and automatically unlock when you turn off the ignition.. Do we have this feature...even if it requires dealer reprogramming?

This is not the same as what he wants. Some cars engage and lock the doors at 10mph or higher, as a safety function.

Mine never did that, and I don't know of any Mazda that does that off hand to be honest. It still might be something they can do in MDS, but you'll have to call the dealer and talk with a tech to find out.

Yeah, I need the locking/unlocking to happen when I'm in the car. I know I can get an aftermarket setup to do this, so I may do that...just never use the fob the aftermarket comes with.
