So I dont like how long the mazdaspeed6 badge looks on the trunk. I was thinking of replacing it with a atenza badge on the left of the trunk where the mazdaspeed6 badge is and an MPS badge on the right of the trunk. What do you all think of that?

So it looks like SU is still being blocked, I guess just replace the ** with SU's address.

I think it would look pretty cool.

just realized that the N on that emblem font is really weird.

"Atenza" has some character to it.. muuch more than "6"

i ordered my atenza badge through p.garage, i beleive its been shipped so i should have it soon. i wont be taking the mazdaspeed off though only the 6.

it's going to look goofy saying "atenza mps".... atenza is japanese and mps is euro/aussie

well wasn't planning on putting them next to each other, just on opposite sides of the trunk. But the Mazda6 is so common that I really dont wanna use that one. And I would like something to show that its more then an average 6 or atenza without outright saying its a speed. :)

It'll only look goofy to someone like you.

does my wagon having a "323" (without "f") badge on it make you cry yourself to sleep? :D

so it is just the "6" in EU/AU? and in Japan is the MS6 is called what?

oh ok kool thanks for clearing that up. I like the way atenza looks. I dont like the big M in the back along with it saying Mazdaspeed6 and mazda 6. Also how do you pronouce that???

In JAPAN Atenza means ATTENTION. And the MS6 is in JAPAN the Mazdaspeed ATenza.

In the left side of the trunk is MAZDASPEED and on the right ATENZA.

In Europe and Australia is MAZDA 6 on the left of the trunk and MPS on the right.

Here in Puerto Rico is just like in the states, MAZDASPEED 6.

Just out of curiosity why would you re-badge your car? I can understand de-badging..it's a cleaner look. but putting badges on from a JDM car is total rice IMHO. The Atenza is a right hand drive car, sold everywhere but the states. I would feel pretty weird driving around a car the EVERYBODY KNOWS you changed the badge on. I dunno...maybe it's just me. If YOU think it's cool...do it.

I do understand where you are comming from with the rice statement, but Be honest. If you grabbed a random 50 people off of the street in (Insert American City Here) would they even know the difference between an American 6i/6s/MS6? Much less the differences between the American/European/JDM versions? For that matter would they even know that a MS6 existed? I really doubt it. How many times have you tried to explain what a Mazdaspeed6 is to somebody that said "Thats a nice car man but........What is it?" and when your done they have a confused look on their face.

^^^^^^^

My thoughts exactly. And I'll add, the debadging to me is played out. To many people do it already. Maybe rebadging is just a small change in aesthetic look but I think its better and a bit (small bit) more unique then most other cars are out there, at least mazda cars that I've seen.

The purpose of this is to be unique, its his style he likes it, he'll do it.
Plus i think if you get a Japanese car, keep the Japanese name for it! but thats just my opinion.

my 1st post on here(cabpatch)
