Hey all......have a 2008 CX-9 Grand Touring FWD with 41,000 miles. Recently the AT light came on in conjunction with the check engine light. Drove for a few miles before realizing it was stuck in 3rd gear. Turned the car off then back on. AT light was off and shifting fine but the engine light remains. Anyone had this happen before?

Please scan the error codes out.
Do have the the NAVI system?
If yes:
(get into diagnostic mode) - search for my other thread on how-to.
Find the error codes, and search the web for what it means.
AT light came on likely due to over-heat (if it went away after restarting).
Were you climbing steep hills or pulling heavy load at the time when it happened?
I recommend going to a dealer since powertrain warranty still covers it.

It does have the navigation system and definitely wasn't overheating. I drove 10 miles on back roads went into the super market for 30 mins and came back out. The lights came on in the parking lot. Thanks for the help. I'll take it in and see what they say.
