AT Light on Dash

Hi, for the owners of automatic transmission in their Mazda5, has anyone noticed that the AT light on the dash is off/absent ? I noticed mine has gone off after a few weeks after having the car. I think I tried the 'tiptronic' manual shifting and then switched back to the automatic shifting but the AT light never came on again after that.

The AT light or the light that shows what gear you are on? The AT light should just light up when you start the car and then go out. It's a warning light meaning something is up with your transmission.
