ASAP HELP!! Remote Cable install on HU

i need help!!!

For the Remote cable on my amp, would i connect the remote cable to teh new harness or where?!?!?!

ok wait...........when i replaced my hu there was a cable on the new hu that said remote cable but there was nothing for me to plug into it. but i do have the stock msp amp in the back. so is something amiss?

if you didnt figure it out already the pioneer will have a blue wire coming out of it labeled remote. just use a butt connector on that and connect the remote to the amp to the remote coming from the head unit. Your original harness (car side) will not have anything in that slot that is on the head unit side of the harness.

cool thats what i thought but i read on another thread about a remote cable should be connected to the power on the HU but i didn't think so

As mentioned before.. just connect the blue wire from the amp to the blue wire that goes from the car to the headunit.

if you are talking about remote wire to turn on amp. you run it from the amp output to the harness in the back of the HU. there is usually a blue wire and a blue wire with a white stripe. just strip the solid blue wire from the back of the HU and twist them together.

and drop the wire and put a butt on it and all the good stuff
