That's an excellent line.

Best of luck with the diff, Scott.

Todd... glad I could help...

Scott... sorry about the diff, really. As Kevin said at dinner last night... check the axles to see if they may have popped out slightly. It's worth a look.

And as I said on Saturday. I am available to help in way you need.

I'll post up the sad car on the wrecker sometime, hate to see it like that, but I figured it would happen sooner or later, was just wishing the clutch would need to go first so i coulda just welded up the diff since I had the tranny off anyways. oh wells, s*** happens and I can't take money into the afterlife so I better spend it here.

Youchies on the diff...if you need anything, let us know!

Well as stated. And you can see my sad face as she was loaded up.

Well, like they say, better in a parking lot full of cones than on the street :(

Er...I've heard a bunch of ppl say that. And I'd personally would rather have it break on an autox course than while I'm doing 80 on the interstate...

I'm guessing that whoever it is, wasn't working the course when a car decided to spew fluids over half of the track.
ok, that's the 1 exception. Fluids FTL

poor car...but she'll be back...and better than ever.

GL scott...let me know if you need a hand...and i don't mean "in your pants"

Topher, you know that for a split second before he reads that last part, he'll be REALLY excited...

bump to the top, it was my diff for sure, thanks Chris for helping (doing pretty much all of it) pull it apart, now I know how to do it and I fairly certain I could do it if need be. But anyways we got it out and found a piece of mystery metal as well so I have to do a little research to find out what/ where it came from. So I guess that narrows things down and Brian I expect the new one within a week or so ok? Tomorrow hopefuly we'll find out if the spare tranny's diff is still good and then it is off to the welder if it is, put back together and back into the car. WOOHOO!

yeah, there were a FEW chunks of metal, but that 1 was a little strange. didn't look like any other in there...
