Are tinted headlights illegal?

I have some yellow tint and I wanted to know if tinting the headlights would get me pulled over. Its very light (80% light transmission). I cut out a piece and set it on the headlight just to see what it looks like and I like it alot. If I can't cover the whole thing, do you think I could cut out where the main light is and get away with it?

get some yellow tint from a tint shop and slap it on....

(my non-expert advice, as i know nothing of tint)

I'm pretty sure you can buy yellow fogs, but I guess you wouldn't want to spend more money on something you already have.

I guess tint or some kind or if they have something like Nightshades that comes in yellow. You could always try Testors translucent spray paint & then clear coat it. That's what I did with my old car to red out the tail lights.

In Florida it is illegal to tint your lights I know first hand

Did u just use regular window tint on em, the colored kind? Looks cool id do it in a diff color, maybe Mirror tint or 45% black

It is not leagal to tint your lights. The only thing thats illeagal is to remove the amber turn signal, amber reflector (if its your only one) place blue or red led's in the housing, or blue or red strobes.

Next I will have to tell you, Dont come to this forum and start acting like the "Protege GOD" and flaming people just for anything. You are from PClub, and no one deserved to be treated in the way you did there. I dont care what you know, what you are, or what you drive. No one is going to stand for that sarcastic additude here!
