Are these Rx8 rims??

Hey guys. I bought these rims sight unseen, they were supposed to be oem 18 x 8 Rx8 rims, powdercoated black. They seemed pretty big upon first inspection:


As the pics show I'm measuring 9 inches wide by 19.5 inches in diameter. I've can't find anything as far as info on Rx8 wheels of this size, anyone know what these are?

They are RX-8 wheels, 18 X 8. You are taking your measurements from the wrong places.

Thanks! Measured against my current 18x7.5's and you're right, always thought tires were sized by actual dimension, ima idiot.

You think my current tires 225/40/18 would fit then?

thats what tire size you need to run on them with your car any ways so mount them up

Took them in today to mount, but my tires are shot on the inside from neg. camber in the rear(since fixed). Got new tires on order and getting mounted Thursday!(hump)
