hi been looking at getting 19"
so for everyone that has 19" are you happy
did MPG go up alot
do you feel it slowed down your car

i'm not really a fan. its personal preference more than anything else. it will slow you down and hurt your gas mileage, but probably not enough to really hurt you.

They're only "worth it" if the new 19 wheel/tire weight is less than the OEM weight..., so not real likely.

if you like the look and style of the 19in wheel then it's worth it to you. In the end end only you can answer that question.

I think 19" are worth it my brother put 19" on his 6s and i think it looks beautiful

Worry about looks first, and then secondly either performance OR ride comfort (upto you what order).

Going from 14s to 17s on my Integra (I know, 14s, right?) the smaller tires at 205/35 made most driving in the city really uncomfortable. If your butt (and passengers) can take a harsher ride for style, do it. I'm not saying don't, I'm saying know what you're getting into, no one told me!!!

Tires for 19" are harder to find and always more expensive.

well i decided to stick with the stock wheel this winter got new egael F1 225/45/18
will lower it and get new 18"s next spring

if you want to pay more for wheels, and a lot more for tires, and want to live in fear of every pothole, go for it! :)

I have 19's an love em. Cant compare to stock because these were what was on the car when I bought them. Only thing with mine is that the edges of all 4 tires are cupping and have to be rotate and in perfect alignment or they will eat away the edges. 15k miles on my new tires and there is still a lot of tread. Tires can be found cheap. I paid 600 at discount tire for the set. Local tire shops around here wanted 230 per tire.

I like the look of the 19".
But I don't care for the trade-off in:
Ride Comfort
Increase in tire cost
And risk from damage - potholes etc.

In the end its a personal choice.

all i can say is that it did slow down my car a bit... but then again i can still stage 1st gear and chirp 2ng

You better really know what your getting into with ride comfort and prices of tire and etc. But 19 can look really good; if you can pay to play!
