Running stage 1+FMIC, dont have dp and rp installed yet. I get the boost to peak at 16.5 but it wont hold. by the time i shift the boost is down to 12psi. ive had the stock bpv on and couldnt get more than 15.5psi out of the same map. the turbo xs hybrid bov i could only get 15.5psi out of as well. The HKS deffinitly holds the boost better but im not sure why it trails off.

I still have the txs bov and may put it back on and add a spacer.

any thoughts as to what else it could be??

If you're not holding boost, you have a leak. Find it and problem solved.

actually, if this is v102, this is something that i also ran into. if your car holds boost just fine using the stage 1+ (no fmic) map, this probably means that the v102 fmic map is not heavily wastegated enough for your car. i had this same problem, and as soon as i got a beta 103 map, it was all good. keep in mind that that v102 fmic maps (stage 1+ and 2+) were hit and miss on whether it worked.

EDIT: if your car doesn't hold boost using stage1+ (no fmic), do what bravnik says and check your boost hoses for leaks.

if i cared i wouldnt touch the car.

checking for leaks was my first thought. turned up nothing. going to try the stage 1 w. out fmic and see what i can get out of it.
