exactly... it is very common in the ford world.
lots of guys like to just swap in a cobra MAF and 24# injectrs and go to town.
that's what I did but it was a Lightning MAF. oh and a 150 direct port kit.

Also, PG should have givin here manifold to somebody who would have tuned for the manifold, I feel that a proper tune with that manifold would yield great numbers. But I know nothing.
the manifold yields good numbers on its own. it would make no sense to test parts only on cars that run aftermarket engine management systems. if we dynoed gains of the manifold only after we had tuned for the manifold, people would call BS on the results and on the method. its pretty much standard to test the individual gains of a product on a car that is mostly stock or stock.

I also find it extremly odd that the people who produce the parts dont encourage tuning for the parts. Seems like a law suit waiting to happen. Zoom zoom boom as some say, lol.

my MAF housing was off a lightning too. i originally had the 42# injectors too, but they just didnt cut it. thats when i called granetlli and had a new sensor made for my application.
Piggy Backs and this car don't work. Procede just tuned a ms6, went zoom zoom BOOM ont he way home. Ill take a reflash over a piggy back anytime(chair)
700 bucks to get rid of throttle control, set a steady boost, and not worry about the stock ecu constantly fighting piggyback systems is worth it for me.
Because is a known fact that the ecu close the throttle past 5k rpm.
wows that seems really weird/low for 2nd gear at that rpm. stock intake?
