this s*** is going to be on ppv this afternoon. I've reserved myself to sitting at home and watching it, so I'll post the outcomes when it's over ......for those of you who might be interested in who wins, but not interested in shelling out 35 bucks to watch it. - peaxe (thumb)

I watched the UFC 55 show tonight.... there were a couple of good ole bloodbaths. One, between two heavyweights, the stupid ref Herb Dean let the one guy punch the other for like 10 seconds too long and at the end homeboy was pouring blood out of his nose and mouth.... One fight was called because of a bloody cut. One dude got kicked in the knuts and had to be taken to the hospital.... Forrest Griffin won, but not before he got punched like 30 times in the face..... then they started talking about him fighting chuck liddell (hope this dont happen) ......Arlovsky knocked buentello the **** out in like 12 seconds.... once again, Joe rogan almost ruined the whole show by speaking throughout it..... and that ref herb dean needs to get strung up.

Diego Sanchez was talking stupid, ignamus s*** and I hope he gets Knocked the **** out cold. (cheers) - peace.

um, lets see..... the groin kick was to a dude samed "the legoinairvs" sakara, he was winning to fight and about to smash his opponent into mush, they came out for the 2nd round.... and he got his testicle SMASHED ! wasnt intentional....
.......Forrest Griffin beat elvis sinosec by KO, the ref should have let them fight.....
the Arlovsky/buentello KO was kinda anticlimactic, buentello leaned in to do some punching, got hit, went unconscious, and fell on top of arlovskys back.

I guess it was fun to watch, but not one of the more exciting UFCs I've seen.

but def rent it when it comes out on video, that one heavyweight fight was a ******* bloodbath ! (glare)

it was such a fast, clean punch paul buentello didnt even know what hit him. it will definitely be considered one of the ultimate knockouts. btw, it was 15 seconds

Chuck would kill him easily, Forest keeps his hands down to much and trusts his chin a bit more than he should for sure

yea that is true. plus he has that edge since he broke one arm in a fight and knocked the guy out with the other one, so it might just be going to his head. but it would be a very good fight.

Yesterday's fights were great! MUCH better than the regular UFC reality show. I wasn't dissappointed. KO's are still the best. Tapping out just looks like "ahhhh you wuss.... let em take your arm off... you DO have another one ya know." lol

Im be sad when I see forrest griffin get ktfo, because he does keep his hands too low. in this last ufc vs sinosec he was open to hooks all day long..... I thought sinosec was getting the better of him..... my 2 cents.

Stand up rules and is my favorite like you, but it takes a ton of strength and skill to put and keep a hold on somebody. You just have to learn to appreciate it.

Ultimate Fighter is hit and miss with the fights.

I have 55 on video. I just have to watch it as I haven't seen it yet.

I dont see anyone from the 2nd series doing anything in the UFC, they drained the well for the first season.

i dont know if theyll be bringing jorge back because the semifinals are this week. there are only 4 welterweights and 4 heavyweights. the only way is if someone gets hurt and cant continue, but even then im not sure jorge is in fighting shape because his knee was pretty screwed up.

Thats true. It was pretty swollen after that last fight with Von Flue (or however you spell it). And talking of which, he needed 40 stitches so I dont know what its going to be like for him afterward either. I still think watching the welter weights is much better than the heavy weights though. They're lighter and quicker and just more exciting to watch overall.

i definitely agree. thats why i was upset when ufc got rid of the lightweight division because they didnt think it was exciting enough. i loved watching jans pulmer. as far as uf2 goes, im actually looking forward to seeing that weird kid fight. the one that punches the sand bags and does all sorts of weird rituals. hes either going to a) competely suck and get his ass beat, or b) be a complete nutcase and kick some ass. i just have a feeling about that guy. never underestimate weird-nerdy dudes.

haha i was thinking the EXACT thing. he's all quiet. no one says anything to him or calls him out or challenges him. he was the last one to be picked. so you know he's got to be building something up or just a plain out wimp and going to be delt with when it's his turn.

my experience with people like that is that they usually tend to be a bit psychotic.
