anyone trading their 07/08/09 for a 2010?

title says it all... just curious if anyone will try to get rid of their current speed3 in favor of a 2010?

i might get shot or banned for saying this... but im growing a bit tired of mine... the center console rattle is seriously driving me bananas...

hmm, try taking the console out, figuring out where the contact is taking place, and place some double sided foam tape to cure the problem. Seems a lot more sensible than a new, larger car payment, and who knows what ailments the 2010 models will have.

If the rattle is that bad go in and warrant it. Isnt there a TSB for that anyway? Thought it had something to do with the windshield...

There is a write up and pics of the 2010 in the new C&D towards the back... Looks nice. HP on the 2.3 is up to 167 and gets the 6 sp. manual.

I've definitely considered it, but it wouldn't make much sense. Dealerships will not want to inherit a used MS3 to sell, so it'd be hard to get a trade-in value anywhere near what i'd be looking for or requiring, in order to pay the loan off and recoup some of my down payment money.

So ultimately, i'm trying to forget the idea all together, but boy would I like dual exhaust, a hood scoop, and blinkers on the mirrors. I do NOT need the smiley face bumper though..

the new 3 looks pretty nice. saw that same C&D issue. looks like those front wheel flares are becoming standard design for mazda. swiveling xenons and other niceties make it a nice pkg

If I owned a current MS3, the kicker for trading in for a 2010 would be AWD.

If the 2010 MS3 breaks out with 290-300 hp and the RevoKnuckle FWD system or AWD, I will seriously consider trading my current '08.5 MS3. Anything less than the figure above, will not be acceptable.

It's kinda funny, our headlights look sorta like the 04-05 STI's with them being larger, then the new headlights start to swoop sorta like the 06-07, while the rest of the body looks like the 08-09+.

Either way, it's not going to have all these fantastic things. I sure hope the new body style doesn't rob the extra HP with extra weight.

Road and Track spy photo of the 2010 MS3 says 280HP/around 300 tq and some changes to help it hang through the higher RPMs. Could mean a better fuel pump.

The dash rattles like crazy in my car too, I just turn up the radio. I want to take it to the dealer but im afraid of the damage they might do looking for the problem. As far as the 2010 MS3, I doubt ill trade in my 08. If it goes it will go for the new WRX. No more high HP FWD cars for me. That said I still love my MS3.

a lot of people are just not accepting the new look, I can't get over the smiling front myself, seriously the new design needed a second thought (encourage on a positive note however early reviews talk about a few positive changes on the inside

even these reviewers can't accept the front themselves, where's was that article hmm
