i had that very problem and i ADDED fuel and it stopped
well tonite imma pull some fuel out kinda like laloosh and go from there
what im noticing now is that the car really isnt pulling hard anymore inthe higher rpm's my a/f is at 10.1ish and thats pig rich
imma try and lean it out to about 11.6ish and see how she pulls
so ur car start getting stuttering after u installed the cpe dp?
heres my timeline....installed standback running fine with fuel cut toward the redline...no stutting for 3 weeks....i changed out the turboxs rp to full cpe tbe then i have problem with the stutting....
what wideband are you guys using and hwere did you place it? I dont want to remove the downpipe again just to weld in a wideband. Is it possible to install with the downpipe on the car?
1.9 and right 2655-3621 i added 3 percent.
1.9 and right 3862-redline i subtracted 2
boost set to 17.2
boost clip at 10
no timing changes.
Cpe sent me a map for I/tbe and he was taking away as much at 9 percent of fuel up top and adding a lil where i added. He was also increasing timing by 3 degrees up top. Seemed dangerous to me so i didnt even use it.
so its not just my car then. Another car runs better and stopped stuttering after being leaned out.

WOW! I started this thread on Friday, and first checked it tonight. I was shocked to see six pages of info.
I'm more confused now that I read all that.
Here's a newbie question. Whats "boost clip"?
I still can't believe that any one would tune without knowing everything from long term knock retard, to what there A/F ratios are. I also can't believe that a sophisticated (thanks to those who noticed my spelling error) unit, that cost $600 and has the ability to change with in such fine measurements doesn't log.
When will the logging feature be added to the software?
One more newbie question. Is tunning this engine different because it's a DISI?
I understand that but I'm not making drastic changes. my map is far less aggressive then the map cpe recommends for my mods. I'm not really tunning, more like fixing loldude, you need to get yourself a wideband. Datalog a run and see where your car stands. I would loan you my LM16 but its perm installed now.
