Anyone out there have two CX-5s in the stable?

No, but we seriously considered it when my wife got rid of her last vehicle. In the end, she took my CX-5 and I ended up with another car. I still take the CX-5 whenever I have an excuse. (drive)

The 2016 model is very tempting...I like all of the interior changes and I am ok with the exterior changes too. I want to see one in person and I really want to take a test drive for two reasons: one, to find out how much quieter it really is, and 2, to check out the sport mode!

If they went to a full-time 40/60 split on the AWD and add 50 ft-lbs of torque, I would buy another one in a heartbeat!!

We have two GT AWDs - a '13 and a '14. We bought both of them very early in their model years and have been very pleased. The '13 has about 33K miles and the '14 has about 25K miles. We got the '14 with roof rails and fitted it for hauling bikes (Curt class 3 hitch) and kayaks.

Red 2014.5 with new Shifter
White 2014.

Both AWD. Had 2013 Sport and 2014 FWD before.

I have a 2013 GT AWD w/ Tech. Girlfriend has a 2015 Touring AWD.

That counts?

Have matching 14 GT AWD's in grey. Wife's has 7000 miles and mine has 17,000. Mine is going bye bye any day now when the '16 gets here.

I thought about it but mazda needs to address the being in 4th or 5th gear between 20-30mph that causes the car to bog down. My 2015 already has 17k miles on it.

I usually am shifting some with the manumatic so that hasn't really affected or bothered me....but undoubtedly for fuel economy in auto mode

I wonder if sport mode in '16 displays the same behavior?

We've considered another CX-5 a few times because we really like the one we have but each time I just couldn't pull the trigger because it makes little sense to have two identical types of cars in the same household. Every car type has things it excels at and it's nice to have a mix of types to choose from.

Anyone out there have two CX-5's in the stable?

Yes, but only temporarily. We just replaced our 2013 CX-5 GT with the 2016 model and have picked up the new one already, but haven't gotten rid of the old one yet. The person who bought it is coming to pick it up within the next week or so. In the meantime, it's interesting swapping between the two cars as it really highlights the differences between them.

Sure it does... :-)

Then I shall provide a pic. She decided on a 2015 Touring AWD herself. Thankfully she decided to do a 3 year lease, giving her the option to upgrade in mid 2017.

Does your 2014 have old or new style mirrors? New style has turn signal on front of mirror.
Does the 2015 have less wind noise or more wind noise than the 2014?

My '15 came with the new style mirrors. IIRC 4/14 models and later came with the new still. Other's with old style would need to chime in. I've never noticed this to be an issue on mine.

One other question, how is the road noise in your vehicle?
