What I'd like to eventually do myself is a retrofit with some blue halos around projectors. But until the day I have the time and money to pull that off I'd love to see what other people have done.
Anyone install Halos/Angel Eyes?

I don't have angel eyes but I do have a retro-fit.
Well.. I have angel eyes from TRS but they don't fit the shrouds.

I suppose there really should be a thread dedicated completely to pics of lighting. That would be awesome.
Also, I was wondering, since you've obviously cracked open your housings, do you think a 3" FX-R would work well? I understand it would require modification, but I don't mind that as long as the looks are worth it.

By the way, this is what I had in mind. Blue halos with red demon eyes. Technically illegal, but question is would you get pulled over for it?

Very illegal and you will likely be pulled over fairly quickly i you have them on while driving. The housings have plenty of space for FX-R's. I would also look into EvoX-R's if you're going that route with the retrofit.

Yeah, I had been doing some reading and think I'll just be going with the white halo. Kinda toying with the idea of doing a faint blue demon eye, hoping that it wouldn't be noticed too much, but might be a nice touch. Either way it's going to end up being awhile before I can buy the kit. When I do finally get around to it I'll probably just go with the morimoto mini for simplicity sake, though.

The new Mini Six.0 is supposed to be one hell of a projector. Haven't seen any output shots of it yet but from TRS' descriptions on the new dimensions, the beam will be even wider with more intensity at the cutoff. The downer is only being able to use H1 bulbs but TRS is also re-releasing their XB35 bulb line which is supposed to be close in quality to OEM.
