Anyone here uses immobolizer?

I just installed one in my p5, made by Clifford, can't remember the model name, it does say its G4 (generation 4?)

Anyways, it has this lithum battery looking thing with plastic handle as the key to the system, it is very ugly looking. And it takes practice to touch the whole key to the surface of the activation plate.

Just wondering what you guys are using. Anyone using wireless ones?

Wireless immobilizer

I got my engine immobilizer installed at the dealer when I bought my car. It's a wireless transmitter in which I hang on my car key ring and the transmitter has to be within 5cm from the immobilizer for the car to start.

Mine is part of the Compustar FM 2-way that I just got installed - it has starter kill that is active when the alarm is set (the typical immobilizer), and has capability for fuel and ignition kill as well. disarm the alarm and it disarms the immobilzer. Nice & simple & only one gadget to carry around.
