I have 55k miles on our CX-9 and the steering is very loose...almost like I can turn the wheel about 1/2 inch before it moves. There seems to be some sort of delay also when making slight turns on highway and is "catchy" at times.
I have checked all the linkages and nothing seems to be loose in the arms, etc... The only thing I can track it to seems to be the power steering gears. Thanks for the help.
I wonder if this may be similar to the power steering recall that was recently put out, but I don't think it was for CX-9's.
