anyone have this issues with their xenons?

when parked very close to a wall or some other object, the left headlight shudders slightly, almost like a camera lens trying to resolve an object up close. I assume this has something to do with the adaptive lighting system? although i would have thought that would be tied into the steering? if both headlights did it I might shrug it off as a tiny "normal" glitch, but the fact that it's only the left one makes me think something is off/misaligned etc.

I will say, in general the xenons are fantastic and practically worth the cost of the tech package alone, IMO.

I haven't noticed it with mine, and I'll agree with you that they're worth every penny.

I've never seen that before.
Is it moving ever so slightly or is it pulsating?

Turn the adaptive switch off and see if it still does it.

I find them good be a little low on low beam compared to those on my Xtrail, I would like to see what the LED lights are like than are now coming on some Nissans.

The adaptive headlights adjust with speed and steering input. Left turns will aim the left projector into the turn, vice versa for the right. As you come to a stop even with any degree of steering angle, it will slowly adjust back to its default straight angle. It is normal.

The steering angle sensor and servo motor works in stepping action. The programmed angle range of which the projector moves left and right is FINITE... So yes, the "pulsating" motion is normal. Try any adaptive bi-xenon headlight system up close at lose speeds, be it BMW, Lexus etc.

Well he said when parked next to a wall.
It shouldn't be moving or pulsating when it's parked.
Maybe a voltage issue with the ballast.
Have it checked out.
