Anyone have the Wagner Motorsports Turbo Kit?

it's very very good, I promise you

jeje has it, so does paulmp3, I'm going to get it and so is spicymchaggis (i think).

So its worth all the money then? I was talking to my buddy Rob(REMillers) and he said that he would recommend gettin it with the FMU...now, Im not the smartest when it comes to turbos, so can someone help me out? And JeJe and PaulMP3, where are you guys? haha

Thanks for all the help,

Chandler

i shopped around for kits and it took me a while to find someone who could make a kit that can stand up to the abuse it would receive from me (daily driver and weekend road track racer)...i initially went up to his shop to meet him and see the work he's done on several cars...most importantly was the metal fabrication...i was very impressed with andy (in fact most of the pics on andy's site are of my car)

however originally to break the car into the turbo i ran 2lbs, then went up to 4lbs on the FMU...it made a big difference in the power the car made and i didn't have any problems...now i run the mpi piggyback at 8lbs and the car absolutely pulls like mad...in fact i have to dial it down when i get to the track as slow corners create such immense wheel spin even with 7" wide azenis on it (no lsd yet)

The wagner kit rules... I love it. I got mine right after Jaje got his.. the quality is top notch. and it runs great. I ran 5psi with the fmu, and now i run 7psi with the mpi piggyback.. i was gonna turn it up, but with winter here and the car running great I figured why mess with it. I dont think my snowtires are safe with that much power.
Customer service is top notch, and product quality is great. Andy is great to deal with also, he is very helpful.

here is my kit.

Looks good if you ask me, it's just that for me there is there ever-growing problem called money, haha. I want to tboost sooooo bad, but I keep coming to a loss financially...is Wagner seriously worth al the money, and isnt Hiboost just a tad more with a tad more hp too? Thanks.

afaik wagner's has not been dyno'd yet so it's debatable which is more powerful, although I have sat in paul's car and I must say I should have brought a towel

you should feel it with the new clutch... it hauls ass. no more clutch slippage. :D

Paul,
Looks like your recirculating. Is that a must with the wagner kit or can you vent in the atmosphere?

i had mine vented for the first 3 months... it works like that, but there is a stalling issue that you need to adjust your driving to avoid, no big deal, after the first week i rarely stalled. with it recirculated it still sounds good and drives like stock..

soon i will vent it again.. (laugh)

Yup Andy is the man! If you want a kit trailored to your needs and guy thwat will stand behind his work go to Andy and Wagner Motorsports. Checkout my albu in my sig for pics of several setups I've had done by Andrew.

If money is a problem. I will have a nonintercoolered kit that will be the same as pauls and joels but minus ther intercooler. The pricing will be about $2400. I will soon be able to offer financing(I think thats spelled right) soon.
As of the 1st of the year look for a lot of products cooming out!!!!

Thanks...nice kit ;)

Wow, Andy you'll finance too? This sounds like the setup for me perhaps...I'm a 19 year old with a red 5 speed MP5, and I think I might have finally found my turbo...lol. Keep us posted Andy.

Will this kit work with an auto?
i think with an auto you might as well forget it...you can only boost up to 4-6psi max and it is not worth the money to get there...i'd look into swapping for a 5spd

there is also a thread in this section giving the reasons why the auto can't handle it

as for your questions i'm not sure if this kit will fit an auto
