I tried to make this in the "How-to" section a while back, and it got trashed...hoping this is the right place.

Does anyone have a write-up or ANY tips/hints about a Downpipe install (I get my CPe in a few days)

If so, any help at all will be extremely helpful and much appreciated. Thanks guys and have a great day.

The downpipe comes complete with step by step color instructions and all the necessary hardware required for a complete and professional installation.

If you have any other questions, I could probably help you out. I installed a CS downpipe on my MS3. It should be similar to yours.

Very Different from what I've seen...

A friend of mine has a Speed3 and from what I've looked at the DP's and the whole exhaust in general are very different. The necessity for a driveshaft to the back almost allocates a nice straight section for the exhaust to move to the rear, until it hits the "Y"

I tried looking around for some how to's but there arent any. :( According to CPE's website, it comes with detailed instructions though.

The speed 6 has a ton more room behind the motor to work with and is much easier to get the downpipe in and out. Best advice I have is to remove the plastic heat shield on the alternator to give yourself a little bit more room.

I see...

While I have you guys here, does PG offer any tuning services? If so, prices?

well for my dp i had to do some cutting have u put it in yet mine was so hard to do even with the room because of the stock cat write back
