Anyone ever hear of Advercarzing.com?

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this. It's a site where advertisers can pick your car to wrap in a vinyl ad, and they pay you money, depending on how much you drive. I've been selected by a sponsor, and was wondering if I should go through with it.

i don't have any direct experience with this, but i know what you're talking about, and i've seen a lot of people driving around with those ads on their cars. hey man, if you want to drive around with a giant feminine hygiene advertisement on your car (or something...you get the point), go right ahead! i've seen some pretty awful ads...hopefully you get to pick what you want.

(lol)

I wouldn't drive with that s*** on my car for $18.00 an hours.
People would laugh at you and your car.

Ya that is little extreme how much wrap they put on it. Wouldn't mind a little ad on the car but not the whole thing.
But if you need some money and don't mind the looks then go for it. Just concerned about how it will affect the paint.

They promise at least $200/month, but if you drive more, like I do, it's around $400/month. The vinyl is 3-M adhesive vinyl, and they promise it will not damage the paint. For the extra money, I think I can handle it. Plus, it might protect against some rock chips! :D

$400 a month basically means you're driving your car for free.

The only thing I would worry about is damage to your paint job. It might not damage the paint but the sun will fade your paint over time and when they remove the vinyl the exposed paint will appear lighter.

I don't know how extreme it would be, but if they have a gauruntee that will include repainting your car if there is damage, it sounds like a great deal.

It would be cooler if they decorated your car like a stock car...with an number on the side and everything.

Do they actually check up on you to see that the ads are still on there? There may be a way to take the ad off for normal driving, then stick it back on when they inspect it or whatever they do.

I dunno how easy it would be to take off and on, the pics they have the cars are practically covered all over.

After looking at some of the pictures of the cars on there, (notcool) there is no way in hell I'd ever do that. But if you need the money... If they pay you $400 you could always go buy a Daewoo or a Kia (whatever's cheapest) for around $200 a month, and have them wrap it, and you'd still be making an extra $200 a month.

Daewoo's go for really cheapy since the company went under and they don't make parts for them. Supposely insurance companies don't even like to insurance them for that purpose.

i would never, ever compromise the appearance of my car for an advertisment. i dont care if they did offer $400 a month. do you want your car to look like a billboard on wheels? also, think about what was said before about the actual ad that is going to be put on your car....................what if it's viagra or something?

Trojan car.... (lol) now thats funny.

I see alot of 'commuter cars' around the Boston area. Think about it....you buy another car, they pay the bills for it, and you use it for your morning and evening commute. They get the exposure and you don't rack up miles on your baby (your real car that you drive on weekends and after you get home from work).

They could wrap my car in some stool softner product ads...

Wow, I would never do this to my car. Maybe if i was driving some beat up POS, but never to my baby.

buy a bad beater, get it wrapped, then put it on rollers to add mileage, and get payed, you dont even have to drive the thing
