Anyone else having iPod issues?

I've been keeping my ipod plugged to the usb, which has seemed to work just okay. The issue I'm noticing is that the ipod seems to reset itself randomly after I turn off the car. I can be listening to a song, turn off the engine, turn it back on and instead of continuing from where I last left off, the ipod will start loading my entire library. Pretty annoying because if I'm feeling my gangster raps playlist, I don't want to have to go back to navigate to it, it should work like a CD player.

I am using an older 120 or 160 gb ipod, if that matters.

Anyone else having similar issues?

And what is up with the bluetooth on this car? kind of sucks

I'm having the same issue with my Ipod - only I listen to books from Audible. I'll be part way through a book, and the ipod resets, completely losing my place. The dealer has been good -even replacing the ipod adaptor, but the problem still persists. I called Mazda, but I haven't gotten anywhere with them. Good luck.

If I shut off the radio and unplug my iPhone 4 before shutting the motor off, upon returning to drive away it will resume where it left off. If I just shut off the motor before doing this and unplug the phone, it will read the contents before playing anything.
