Anyone else experience this creaking windshield??

Called my dealer yesterday and the SM ordered the parts - no problem. All I did was mention the TSB/problem and she knew what it was. There have been a few cars in for the same problem and the results have been mixed. The problem comes back for some and for others the fix has lasted a while.

It seems that more members (from the other forum) feel that the TSB fix doesn't really fix the problem, but I figured since the dealership was super nice about fixing it, I might as well get it done. If it doesn't completely alleviate the rattle, maybe it'll lessen it some

right it'll come back. mine did with their fix.

Thanks man. Just called Balise and they weren't happy enough with a TSB number and a part number to fix it, so I have to go in tomorrow morning and they don't know how long I'll have to wait. If they even try stroking me around I'll flip the **** out. Seeing as how it's right after my physical therapy I'll be sore and in no mood for bulls***. Percocets and rage FTW!

way back when ... when I had this problem I'd take my pops for a drive going "YOU HEAR THAT!?" He'd say "No? What noise." DROVE ME CRAZY that I was the only one that could hear it. LOL

They make little pills to make the voices go away you know? (crazy)

Brought my car in this morning and handed them a copy of the TSB, the guy was shocked I actually knew what was going on. They made me wait ten minutes then told me the parts were ordered, I don't think they ever even got in my car.

I noticed mine making this noise on Monday when it started getting cold. Thanks for all the links and information about the fix. It's starting to drive me crazy.

OKAY it's official, the damn creaking is back even after the stupid shims they put in, I guess now it's time for me to do something about it myself.!! SOB.!

it will never be a "real" fix, you just have to do it yourself, as I will be doing next weekend.
