Sorry, camera battery was dead lastnight.
Ok here goes:
I used the plug on my map light assembly.
Using some old speaker wire I had, I ran a wire from this hole to hang out at the windshield. Over by the driver door I took an open metal coathanger and (carefully) pushed it through from the top of the door sil to the windshield. I taped the wire on and pulled it through. When I ran it down the side panels between the doors I pulled it tight up above so that it is all in the headliner.
On that plug there is a small orange clip (on mine anyway), so I popped it off to expose the wires underneath it.
I do believe that the power/possitive was the one in the middle, and the ground the one, well .. the other one connected .. left/right .. however you look at it.
This little orange clip has small grooves in it that hold the wires still I guess.
If you slide the wire in from the back and line them up carefully with the other ones, when you put that clip back on, it will press the wire onto the car wire in there, and will hold pretty tight. I used some electrical tape to seperate the two wires so they don't make contact by the plug. That stuff is terrible when it gets hot .. sticky!
The wire came out under my seat where the vent cut in the carpet is (I have no clue what that wod of paper is .. the back seat is my kids domain)
You can see where I used butt connectors .. the two left side are in with the wire from the map light and they are crimped to another cable that goes across to the other front seat. There, that wire is crimped to the other sil wires.
I will be waiting til this fall when it cools off and I am going to take out my seats and run all the wires and stuff under the carpet.
Hope this helps .. if you need more instructions just let me know.
