Any potential problems using LEDs like these

Depending on their construction, LED-style lights can cause a couple of problems:

If you use them for a blinker, and they weren't built with the proper impedance (ohms/resistance/whatever) then they can cause problems with the turn signal either not working or constantly staying on instead of flashing. Along the same lines, if used for a brake light or similar, they can send a false "bad bulb" signal to the system, and if your car has a warning light for bad bulbs, it could give you false warnings.

and friend of mine and i tried them out once. you need clear lenses for them to work. you won't really be able to see them through colored lenses.

They would look good if you could find them in amber for our sidemarkers and rear turn signals. If you get them for the brake lights the only diffrence will be tthat they look more crisp when the ttturn off and on.

99% of the cheaply bult led replacemnet bulbs put out LESS light than the ones you are replacing them with. also that bit mentioned above about the turn signal thing. if you want a quality led replacement bulb, expect to shell out $50 per bulb.

i used the red ones

for my front directionals and they work great ..

Re: i used the red ones

ANd are illegal as can be. Almost every state in NA you have to have a AMber turn signal in the front. For Rear you can have either amber or RED. You can geta nice ticket for having red in the front. Same thing with those stupid blue led washer lights they are illegal since you can not have emergency colors (red or blue) on the front of you vehicle. PLus that is just ricey anyway, and damn you for making me say ricey. j/k

Actually it's federal regulations that say signals have to be amber in fron and Red or amber in back. Most cops jprobably don't care in TN. They sure don't care in KY.
