Any photographers in here?

taken with my Galaxy... This is what I am shooting daily with... aside from the flash daily. T2i with the 18-135is, I use the 50mm 1.8 a lot too! I love it!

finally got my legit copy of LR3 yesterday. working on some edits on some portraits then I'll post them up and get some opinions! I think they turned out nicely for my first real portrait session.

Couple shots from my first paid shoot. Nothing special, they were renovating the place so I the background is crappy!

Always try to find decent undistracting backgrounds. And use your 50mm for that trophy shot. Looks like it was too dark and your shutter speed was too low. Or use a flash.

Have you guys seen the prices of used 5D mkIIs!? they're crazy low right now. I am seriously considering getting one.

Yup..but I'm going to wait till I can borrow one from a friend. He's lending it to me for a few weeks to try out before I purchase one. I just picked up another 7D this morning and will sell my 50D to fund the 5D purchase if I do decide on it. The one thing I'm worried about is the amount of bboy and dance events that are really fast moving. I'd like to try it out first and this beats renting it for 125/day.

why are you worried about fast moving? The high ISO noise is crazy low on the 5d. with the super wide lenses you use, I think focusing wouldn't be a problem. you can find them for so cheap now, I'll bet in 6 months when people are not pandering over the 5dIII so much you can sell it for a profit.

Last time I had it in a wedding..I was never a fan of the focusing.

And add to that..it's 2200 bux. LOL..I'm in the midst of rebuilding my car as well.so..no..not now.

I've been talking to a lot of folks, and it seems the 7d would be a better choice for me than the 5D mkII. Longer reach with the crop frame, better AF, and a better light meter. Since I take a lot of photos from a distance, and of fast-moving objects, it might work.

In other news, I got to take a pretty badass ride and do some air-to-air shots!
