yep. I am still figuring HDR out. All those sliders confuse me.

what kind of post processing in photoshop? (technique tips)
i just mess with the sliders until it looks like what i want but it confuses me by the preview looking totally different than the result for details enhancer. the tone compressor comes out looking real nice but not very "HDR'ish"

If certain parts just don't look right you can go in a correct it by blending in parts from the different exposures or fixing any of the halos that photomatix can leave behind. Also you can play with the typical contrast, saturation, highlights and shadows to make your picture pop a little more.

here are a few shots me and my dad have taken at some local concerts.

ive got to look into layers and blending. i usually stick with the typical contrast, saturation, highlights and shadows. just wondering if there were any other cool tricks.
I think it's pretty successful. Nothing jumps out as looking excessively surreal or under- or over-exposed. No halos. I like it.

Yes 2 SB600's triggered. The next time I will try and get more DOF or use a highpass filter. I have a RSX to shoot soon so I will mess around some more. But this is the first time using strobes with automotive.
Don't get me wrong. It does what an HDR is supposed to do, but there is just no dynamic to it. The image looks flat and bland, as opposed to all his other images that have much more vivid colors.
Yea for my personal taste it could be brighter all around. But I think given that most of the foreground was in shadow I think it turned out well.
