Your contrast look VERY off. Is that hdr?
yep. I am still figuring HDR out. All those sliders confuse me.Your contrast look VERY off. Is that hdr?
Some I took of my gf with the 300 f/4L
I have many from this summer. It's been a good year.
If certain parts just don't look right you can go in a correct it by blending in parts from the different exposures or fixing any of the halos that photomatix can leave behind. Also you can play with the typical contrast, saturation, highlights and shadows to make your picture pop a little more.
I did play with that one in photoshop after. I think the bottom right part of the photo is the only part that is throwing it off. I couldn't figure out how to get it to look right.
Two strobes? Left and right on the first pic? I like the backdrop and how clean the picture is.
You could have used a shallower DOF to make the car pop out a little more.
I think it's pretty successful. Nothing jumps out as looking excessively surreal or under- or over-exposed. No halos. I like it.
Don't get me wrong. It does what an HDR is supposed to do, but there is just no dynamic to it. The image looks flat and bland, as opposed to all his other images that have much more vivid colors.
