Yeah I think that the super wide lenses don't work as well on panoramas because of the perspective distortion.

Photoshop is supposed to be able to iron out any distortion when stitching panos. If you check the geometric distortion correction box lol

It can do that..but I like the distortion sometimes. gives a feeling of vastness. especially landscapes or big ass structures.
