Any photographers in here?

Holy crap thats a little excessive!

Cool shots of the drops hitting each other.

yeah people go a little nuts for this whole photography thing. and what do you do with a perfect water droplet shot? not exactly something I'd frame and put on the wall...

dont think so because I have used 4 different ones

i purchased one had the issue, my friend wanted it so i sold it to him and then purchased another one, returned it

then used my brothers, still does it

my daughter has one also and it does the same thing

its not off by a mile but it mis focuses a bit quite constantly, especially in low light

still well worth the $80 I spent on it.

Sell it to a water purification company. ;) I've been meaning to play with water. Just to have fun and learn the camera more. That's what it's all about really. Being creative.

it's fun to play with... I've tried... The rig that was on that page was a little much though.

and you might be onto something with your purification idea!

Not nearly as awesome as some of the ones on the internet, but the best I could do in a dorm room with a strobe and a straw.

I think I'm figuring out the M mode and liking it more and more. Just need more time with the camera and warmer outside temperature. Also it's a b**** for night shots that after ISO400, my camera is unusable, but hey! At least I can do nightshots which I couldnt with the old one.

Little "drifting" last night with a few friends.

P.S. @gr? - I've downloaded those magazines about photography, they seem to be quite good, already find a few stuff I was confused about. I'll read them after my exams pass. Thnx!!!

Sweet deal Sleeper! Almost wish I bought a Nikon. Only because I met a new local photog friend who is a real pro and has a whole bunch of lenses I could have borrowed. Lol.

The lens is for his wife... kind of a long story, but here is the abridged version:

she used to shoot nikon, but got her camera stolen (along with all of her gear)
he wanted to buy her another one
I convinced him to go with canon instead, because I knew a situation like this would eventually come up

BINGO
