Here's another headshot I did for a local realtor.
Solid shot, Funky. I really like the evenness of the lighting on her face, and her expression and positioning are perfect. I would probably prefer to see a small kicker camera left illuminating her torso to give the suite some texture (and some additional separation for the subject). Currently, the whole thing fades to black without much detail. The suit could have been a different color, although black works well with her hair color and complexion. I also feel as if the background composition is a little muddled but this is a nit. Overall the image is excellent.

Thats what I did for my camera. Was super easy to do and I got great results from it...

Buying a new camera HELP! Canon XSi SLR
I have found a Canon XSi SLR local and It is in brand new condition. I would like a great camera that I can use and learn how to take awesome pics of not only my car and other friends cars but also other things such as pets and family and use it on vacations. I am not worried about the size but I do want a good camera that will last me for a long time. I am going to offer the guy selling it 400 bucks he said that it has only been used a few times and he has all the boxing and manuals to go with the camera. I think i could prolly buy this camera for about 425-450 do you all think this camera is worth it and would it be a good camera for me? if not then show me some that would be good for me a beginner. Thanks.

I've only been using a DSLR camera (Nikon D40) for a few months, but I thought I'd share some photos. BTW, there are some really good photographers in here. Keep up the good work everyone!

I've also played around with some HDR stuff...

canon is a reputable brand and this is a fine model for a beginnerish photographer. plenty of megapixels, and lots of lenses to choose from. is the seller including a lens? memory card(s)? any thing else?

Yeah a 18-55mm i think and the card that came with the camera. I have desided to wait on this one. but i will be buying a camera in a few months. I am really just over whelmed with information and I would just like to know what are some good cameras.
