funky- very cool idea with the signature on that portrait!
siberian- since the only critique you got from those uk shots was "nice pics" i'll give you some. i think shots of signs and statues are very boring. at least the sign has to have a more interesting misspelling! way to go with the B/W. i don't think people shoot enough of it these days. shot #5 has a great story telling component. but the top of the frame is cluttered and distracting. you need to more conciously include the elements at the top of to provide context for the characters at the bottom. or just focus in more on the guys in the sand. i'd vote for the second option. the last shot also has a story telling feeling about it, but it's lacking in content. it needs a character or something else going on to make it more compelling, but the setting is there. i think shot #6 is the strongest. i'm partial to more abstract/artsy stuff but this one is great! good choice of framing, subject matter, exposure, depth of field. really focusing on shapes and textures, nice dramatic contrast of light and dark areas, and the security camera even adds a story telling aspect. keep 'em coming!
