for sports for sure, but for landscapes / portraits / printing 21 MP like the 5D MKII is amazing, I took some pics of owls with it and omg the details is nuts, I miss that

but at the end of the day if you cant focus and your getting oof pics its pretty useless :)

It just took me 4 hours to upload the RAW images from this past weekend (25MB-27MB files). I previously shot in SRAW1 but I switched to RAW since the images are going into Viper Magazine.

I was curious on the jpg performance of the 5D MKII. Here's one image shot in JPG with a 5 second post process in CS3 (increase exposure level in shadows)

It'll look better once I process the RAW file

Some shots I took with my Panasonic FZ8. Not on par with some of the great shots in this thread, but I did my best :)

How do you shoot in an aquarium to get that kind of quality?
Most of mine look awful, blurry and what else not.

Also, I shot about 100 pictures in the aquarium, and those were the only ones I felt turned out even OK. the rest were crap, and I'm not even completely wild about all of those.

Awesome shots everyone! Here's one with a little trick I learned using only my camera. Photo is of my black baseball hat.
