I just state it just for the fact of levelling things out like the horizon and such so he doesn't have to mess around with the pictures more than he has to.

obviously using a tripod is a good idea BUT shooting landscapes at 2.8 is not going to get good results regardless

Nutari: Hey man..kit lens is fine. I still use my 18-55 kit from my xti. What do you think those shots of the models were taken with? I borrow lenses if I have to, or rent them, but w/ the kit lens..it's all good. It's learning to maximize your skills with what you got. Your later versions of your panorama is way better.
