great pics Linux.....you can see that a polarizing filter would have helped like you said because they look a little hazy and washed out from the sun. could be solved with a little photoshopping.

Last week I had to do a little "photoshoot" in less then a hour of a 2007 Mitsubishi Galant Ralliart. Considering the time I had and that it was raining I think I did O.K. Here are some of the pictures.

I tried on my old polarizing filter on my Fuji FinePix S5000. It screws on, but disrupts the movement of the lense. I can't use it. I should soon have a Nikon D80, or D200, or something of the like.

how do you like the d50? and could you compare it to the d70? The camera I was using was not mine, it was my aunts. She has a tendancy to get the best stuff on the market, so I am hoping she's ready for an upgrade and will sell that camera to me, but if not, I am most definitely in the market for a Digital SLR and I'm not really sure what to get.
