Any photographers in here?

Yea, depends on the photo and its use. $500 is not bad for print.

Recent sunrise.

It is. While I would have liked to make a couple bucks, a low-ball like that is a tad insulting, lol. I didn't think $300 is too out of line, was it?

And now they will move on to the next person in their list to send that same emial to, until they get free pictures. It really is tough to make money as a freelance photographer, or just amateur, 'for fun' photographer. You may get alot of those $10-$30 pictures, but the ones that sell for 3 digits are RARE.

My dad does alot of nature and environmental photography. He prints everything from home, except stuff bigger than 8.5x11. He just sells his prints for a few bucks, and sells the occasional poster size print for $50. Decent money on the side, beautiful pictures.

Not bad man. Do you do any post processing after making HDR images?
thnaks man, i finally took someone on here's advice and took the time to learn burning and dodging. other than that my post hdr processing is just minor stuff like brightness/contrast and saturation

Pics are awesome at the least!
How can I make that kind of effect? Do you have a "how to" or something similar?
Cause this doesnt look like a regular HDR.

if your talking about the the metalic effect on the car it has to do with the ligh smoothing setting, i usually process somewhere between medium and highest, this one was set to high (i believe)

Good stuff. Looking a lot better. See those black/darker parts on that car? Like the red roof? Dodge that a bit. The sun is coming from the sky, so the roof has to be brighter. Since the sun is to the far left of the picture, you don't have to brighten it up as much as you have to. At least make it equal to the rest of the red on the car that's facing you. just a tip :)

It's an HDR. THis is actually closer to what a regular HDR is supposed to look.
Like this comparison:

Too much HDR/tone mapping
