Ok carbon fiber is not ricer sure
you see these old Civics and CRX's and they are all beat up
but yay they have a carbon fiber hood wow.
from far away it looks unpainted

since i'm not a fan of carbon fiber hoods or accessories, i seriously need some clarification... why is it that it's ok to have a black carbon fiber hood, but it is frowned upon to have different color body kits? that's what i don't get. with the advent of CF hoods, every time i see a black hood, i think it's CF, except i've been fooled many times when it turns out that the person got a new black hood and was too cheap to paint it the same color.
now something like full body panels made from CF, like the NSX's kit, is cool. looking at the exotic race cars, all their CF parts are body colored. so would not painting your (enter CF piece here) be rice?

ok so those CARS are rice, not the carbon fiber. it looks unpainted - big deal - a true import enthusiast will see it for what it is up close...just like your bad car looks nice from far away i guess, until you find out the engine bay is still bluemp5spicyorange said:

orginally carbon fiber hoods were meant to lose weight, and really it does. i lost 30-40lbs i would say with my hood. as for the other accessories - i simply like the way the weave looks, and it looks sharp when its clear coated. just like people paint the accents of their car, i accent with carbon fiber. plus it matches my gunmetal rims so i have a little theme of sorts going on.

ahh I'm looking at your picture and your hood isnt painted
Trucs new bumper has Carbon fiber and he got it painted
As for the paint job on my car
If you see it in person it looks like it came off the lot
Like i said before I just might want to change the color
which I can do so you dont really have much on
just the engine bay having some blue
door jams and other parts have been repainted and look awsome

it was DG's carbon fiber lip. the lip came with the bumper. the CF looked tacky, i thought, so blue it went. i wasn't planning on getting anything else CF, so it would have looked out of place.
as a matter of fact, the dg CF lip molded to the FG upper is actually all fiberglass with a sheet of CF sandwiched between fiberglass then clearcoated. so it's not REALLY CF.

Ok little boy WOW your car is fast
I personally wouldn't spend money on the engine
Because this is our family car
My Civic si on the other hand is worth it
It is smaller and weighs less so I dont need that
Carbon fiber junk.
As for Truc he does have a Cabon fiber lip
I saw it before he got it painted and it looks
a hell of alot better than it did before.

In an attempt to be funny, I was going to say:

But that is rude and insulting, so I will just say that you really should not let your woman speak for you as it will hurt your reputation on this forum. I really do liek the color of your car with the wheels. It totally changes the look of the paint job. I am not liking the incomplete paint job, but as has been stated...still in progress.

IMO....(which should be stricken from the record anyway) is that IF i had $3000 to blow on a car, the LAST thing I would do would be to repaint it. $3000 to me is a HiBoost! 
And for what it's worth....I've seen Rider's car.....and it's pretty damn shwancky!
