any one running 200 series on stock p5 wheels?

I don't believe tires with a 200 section width exist, or if they do, they are very old. 195 is the stock width, and some 205s work

no, I'm pretty sure mine fit right. And if I'm not mistaken, the stock rims are 16x6. The azenis 205's don't fit right on 6.5" wide wheels. I've got a set of stockers w/ azenis 205/55 (had the 55's when I bough them, I'll go narrower when I wear these out lol)

Depends on the tire. Check the manufacturer's website for fitment recommendation. I got Falken Ziex-512 205/50/16 and per Falken's site, it works for 6" wheel width. Did I mention they look and perform great compared to the Dunlops.

I ran 205-50-16's for a couple years. Yokohama AVS ES 100's. Ran them until bald, then upgraded wheels to 17". No rubbing, ever. More tires available in the 205 than the 195 series.

I'm running 205/45/16 Yoko Paradas on stock P5 wheels (03 style). I might need new tires soon, and I'm thinking about switching to 205/50.
I've heard that that ride is a little weird. I like the 205 width for grip but hate the harshness of the 45 sidewall (crappy NM roads).

Anybody with 205/50 tires and stock wheels want to chime in and describe the ride quality?

I had the 205-50 for a couple years, and it was a lot smoother than my current 40 series are. Imagine the stock tires, but with grip.

So you guys have put 205 45 16's on with zero problems??

Will the Pzero Nero M+S in 205-45-16 fit our rims?

I can't find the info on their site.

205-40-16 here.

a little small on the sidewall but no big deal.

205 will work fine for nearly every tore out there, unless it has some crazy small sidewall.

205's work fine on 6.5 wide rims too.

For 7 inch wide wheels a 205 will still work but if you want a wider contact patch you should go bigger.

I thought our rims were 6" and that 205 45 will not work but 205 50 will.

Most tire manufacturers recommend at least 6.5" wide wheels for 205/45/16 tires, yes.
205/40/16 are a definite no-no on stock wheels.

Best to stick to 205/50/16. The ride will be less harsh, too.
Just go to tirerack.com and click the "specs" links of various tires - they give you minimum recommended wheel widths.

I have seen many people with 205/50/16's on stock rims. I plan on going 205/50/16 or 215/45/16 for my next tires on my konigs.

i have never seen 200mm tire?

A "definite no-no"?
Explain where you get your data from.

They fit fine and ride fine. Speedo is 4% off, but knowing that, I just adjust my driving.

They are tiny bit harsher as noted but nothing excessive.
Admittedly I'd probably buy a larger sidewall in the future, (larger than 50 even) but I got these used with 98% tread so I'm not complaining.

^^agreed. I personally wouldn't run 205/40 but not because of any safety concern. My 205/45s are just fine, thanks.
Just about every 3rd genner on here still running the stock wheels has switched to 205/45.

40 series if fine for stock rims, just a little bumpier. I think the real no-no is the factory Dunflops! Those were only good on dry, straight road with no turns, and evne then they were not very good.

Here is an awesome link to figure out what the odometer will read if you change tires, rims, etc.
