Any idea about possible ALH malfunction? CX-5 2017

Hi there, recently I've got a warning related to ALH malfunction which apparently affects also the "AUTO" mode for beam. Seems that during the day when on AUTO, the daytime running light doesn't work. It should be right ? I've checked also the cams and sensors on the windshield, and nothing seems to cover them or opturate. In service they said that it is not something very common and they don't know what might be the rootcause.
Did some of you experienced this kind of problem till now?

I have something like this once but I turned the car on and off , and it has been fine since. The dealer has no idea how to fix it?

I also have ALH malfunction and led headlight malfunction light is on and ALH dosen't work. Does anyone know the solution?

Is that the dealers canned answer? It's not very common and they don't know the root cause?
Well they need to get on the phone with Mazda engineering and figure it out.

Seriously I'd open a case with Mazda corporate.

Well my nearest mazda dealer is about 250 km away, do you think that some local workshop can solve it for me?

None of the Mazda vehicles has this ALH feature in the US and Canada. Most members in this forum are from these two areas, and we won’t have any experience of using the ALH.

Mazda’s ALH (Adaptive LED Headlamps) use LED arrays and controlled by the computer without any mechanical moving parts. Only the Mazda dealer has the proper computer equipment to diagnose the problem on ALH. I don’t believe any independent shops can handle such problem.

It seems that there are some confusion here. Maybe it is just me.
Starting from my '16 Mazda6, there is the adaptive headlights (adaptively veer by 15 degree while turning). And, there is the automatic high beam... etc. These have been available on US models for several years.

It seems that the so called ALH is a system that is more flexible and capable of aiming the LED beam. Our beloved HTSA just issued a ruling to allow it last year.

No confusion to me and we here in the North America have never seen the ALH featured by the Mazda due to the outdated DOT / NHTSA headlight regulations.

Yes, the regulation on 2-stage low / high beam finally got removed after years of effort filing petitions by Audi and Toyota to DOT and NHTSA. We should be able to enjoy the latest and greatest LED array headlights like Mazda’s ALH which has been available in other countries for more than 10 years! Just hope no-moving-parts ALH is more reliable than the mechanical AFS used in the NA.
