Antenna removal?

Has anyone removed their antenna? I have messed around with it but can't seem to figure it out and I don't want to f it up.

i took mine out to modify it to allow the sirius attenna to be placed under the sharkfin it would leave a quarter size hole with it out but if ya lower the rear of the headliner and look up it has a nut on the bottom, take it off and un do the wires it comes out with some wiggling
