You should use hump hoses on this kit. Without them the movement of the engine will rip straight hoses to pieces. The Hump hoses allow for movement. I may have to go with the other kits avaliable because the lack of hump hoses and the thought of using mild steem is scary. I dont want rust getting sucked up into the engin!

Does any one know if hard pipes and cold air intakes void your warranty. They don't bypass any emmission equipment. and its not modding any mechanical part of the engin. hell they are better then the factory parts. Don't they have to prove that your mod caused a problem before they can void the warranty. If it does Void my warranty I want my $1100 Extended Warrant refunded to me!

Screw the warranty! Enjoy your car!

if the $200 setup retains the stock bpv and works well-- ill take it-- would the hardpipes and the injen CAI *improve* heatsoak??

I am curious as to the same question. I would figure that the air would be a bit cooler and the path be straightened out, yet, I am unsure as to the amount of improved efficiency of the delivery of air with the pipes versus the surface mount area to cool the charge.

Heat soak SUX and our cars do it ever so nicely.

BLAH.
