I got hit by a jeep with a cast iron beam for a front bumper. (pissed)

Nobody hurt though :)

I have to say at this rate, by this time next year, the MP3 will be an extremley rare limited edition. Sorry to hear it, but it doesn't look totaled.

For god sakes, try to fix it :). Sorry 'bout your car man, funny it seems we here this alot around here but, "A car is replacable, a life is not." Glad your safe.

Seein more and more Mp3's and msp's gettin hit make me wanna park mine for the winter, people here cant deal with a lil snow. Everything goes to hell.

Glad your ok, hopefully it can be fixed

Thanks for the support guys. Heres some the of answers to your questions.

Looks like the wheel is still pointing in the right direction. Any chance that can be salvaged?
actually the wheel got pretty dinged up however it is not warped. the axel is screwed though.

sorry to hear, is it totalled?
I'm not sure yet I have yet to get an estimate I got a feeling its going to be close though.

Of course I would like to have it fixed because I really do love the car. but however if they do total it I might be looking in to an Envoy. I know, I know "WHAT! An SUV?" some of you might say. Well I would really like to get a boat and the ol' MP3 just can hang with that. I don't know... just a though.

Without seeing it up close, it's hard to tell, but it is fixable. The axle is back a bit, but the inner fender/unibody looks straight.

(The question is if insurance will cover it without totalling it.)

Good News

Well, I just found out that my baby is not totalled. I should have it back in about 2 weeks. (cool)

They figured it was about $6,800 in damage.

glad to hear that it's not totalled.

Dang, that's pretty darn messed up. Gonna need alot of pulling and a new subframe at the least. I've only seen one yellow MP3 in my area, darn rare.
