makes me glad i got rear-ended by another student, no running is possible there. hhhmmm, i think tomorrow ill go and pick up that disposable camera, ive been meaning to do that since i got run into and someone told me about that tip. but yeah, that sucks major ass, for sure persue her as much as you can, and yeah, i know what your damage is like, its like mine!

sorry to hear about the car, i hope u can file a suit against the woman to at least get what u are intitled to, man that sucks, and what the hell is wrong with the people in that town, here there would have been at least fifty people stoping just being nosy and wanting to see what happened.

That majorly sucks Emode. I was hoping to check your car out at one of the auto-xes this year yet. Looks like that won't be happening now.

Hopefully your insurance will cover everything without too much of a headache. It's BS that the broad took off after the accident but what can you do? People suck ass, simple as that.

I know you're feeling totally screwed right now but it'll all work out fine I'm sure. You may even be able to upgrade to a better car now - who knows!

what sucks is that i dont have a receipt from my exhaust, which is all ****** up. what should i check in order to see iff she ****** up something from hitting the exhaust so hard? is it feasible for her to have screwed up the turbo at all?

also is after driving a bit is there normally a audible clicking sound, kind of off and on, that comes from the area up and to the right of the throttle body, kind if where there are some vacuum hoses and such?

You should call your insurance get a rental and have it evaluated. I definitely would not be driving it you can only make it worse from this point.

Dude what kind of insurance do you have? Most insurance companies will remburse you for having your car towed. It doesn't sound like you got hit too hard if your driving the car around. Park it and talk to your insurance company. I'm still completely dumbfounded that an actual law enforcement officer of some type didn't come to do a report, put out a lookout for the two other vehicles, take the license plate that you got and trace it through DCI to find out what address its registered to, and then send an officer over there to find the car. I would be complaining to the Police department as well if I were you. I work for my local police as a dispatcher and your situation just doesn't seem like it was handled properly.

well hell im pissed off too lol. that crap happend to me in my old car. i got hit and the bastard didnt even stop. so i put the pedal to the metal and chased that punk for 10 mins while i was calling the police.

come to find out he was drunk and didnt have insurance.

but i got a police report gave it to my insurance company and they did all the work for me, hopefully yours will be just as easy

You can call police and do just that, but they may ask why you waited so long to do so. She can also act as though she has no idea of what you are talking about. I hope something can be done!!

I would all highly recommend the t-mobile sidekick with optional camera....that way you can post about your accident, call the police etc., and take a picture of the scene all at the same time =) good luck with the car man.. I got into a nice accident similar to yours, everything worked out and my car is as good as new

Get that baby fixed up ASAP and you can bring her for the race next week. Also, to answer 1 of your other questions in this thread, I don't hear any ticking to the right of the throttle body - so I'm not sure if what you're hearing is normal or not.(dunno)

That really sucks. I'm sorry that this happened. People on the road are becoming more and more stupid every day. I would have to agree with the people that say take her to court especially since the b**** fled the scene, that's just not right. I bet that b**** was drunk and didn't want to get caught. At least you got her info and hopefully you will do what it necessary to get this situation and your car fixed.

i should be able to get around 400 for the exhaust, since it was done at a shop, so then i am planning use the money to pick up a little ion perf. turbo-back action!
